Utah Valley University invited our program to participate in their annual storytelling night. In Native American culture, the first snowfall signifies the beginning of storytelling. Many tribes tell sacred stories during this time in order to preserve culture and history or to teach traditions and values.

For our performance, we used a Native American children's book called "BowWow Powwow" written by Brenda J. Child as a resource. The majority of our students utilized their cultural knowledge of song and dance to showcase their talents and skills during the play.

Our students did an outstanding job sharing their culture with the audience. We had numerous families in attendance, making it a successful community event. We would like to express our gratitude to the Native American Initiative at UVU for providing us with this opportunity. Thank you to all our amazing parents and guardians who attended this event.
