𝗢𝗡𝗡𝗦𝗙𝗔’𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗔𝗖𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗖 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗦

The Office of Navajo Nation Scholarship & Financial Assistance's online application for the 2024-2025 academic term is now open at https://onnsfa.org/. The deadline to apply and submit the required documents is 5 pm MDT on June 25, 2024. Online applications submitted before the June 25 deadline cover the upcoming Fall and Spring semesters or Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters. The online application will close at 5 pm MDT on June 25, 2024.

o 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Applicants must complete an application for the 2023-2024 Academic Year at www.onnsfa.org

o 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱: New applicants must submit an official Certificate of Indian Blood verifying Navajo enrollment. Continuing applicants are not required to submit another official CIB if there is already one on file unless there is a legal name change. A form requesting the Office of Navajo Nation Vital Records to submit a certified CIB on your behalf may be accessed here: https://bit.ly/CIB_request

o 𝗟𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: A Letter of Admission or Re-Admission from the applicant's institution is required. Graduate applicants must submit two letters of admission indicating full admission status, including one from the graduate college and another from the graduate degree program.

o 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝘀: Sealed and unopened official high school transcripts, GED scores, and official transcripts of all colleges attended must be submitted to an agency office via USPS mail or digitally certified and delivered by a school's authorized delivery agent, such as Parchment or the National Student Clearinghouse.

o 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀: All students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). 𝙁𝙪𝙡𝙡-𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙨: Submit the ONNSFA's Financial Need Analysis form to your school's financial aid office. A Financial Aid Officer at your school will complete the document based on the FAFSA's information and return it to the ONNSFA. The FNA may be accessed here: http://bit.ly/FNAForm_ONNSFA

o 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁: All college juniors, seniors, graduate, and part-time applicants must submit a list of all courses required to complete their degree program. The checklist must include the "expected" graduation date and have an advisor's signature.

o 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲: Applicants may upload the documents in .pdf format to their student account: Letter of admission, graduation degree checklist, and class schedule. All other documents may be mailed to an agency office.
