Parents and Guardians,

The Nebo Title VI Program will be offering a Summer Bridge Program for reading, math, recovery credit packets, and tutoring to help complete any I's received during Term 3 and 4. The purpose is to recover lost learning during the COVID-19 school dismissal.

We understand that each household is unique, and each child has a different learning style. We are here to help! We want your child to be prepare and feel confident about the upcoming school year. Classes will be held Monday-Thursday for four weeks from July 13th-August 6th. There will be no charge for this program.

For Elementary students, each child will be grouped with 2 other students on the same reading level and will work for 30 minutes in the guided reading and 30 minutes in math.

For Secondary students, each student is invited to come anytime between 9:00 am and Noon. A Certified Teacher will be available to tutor and assist students with completing their missing assignments for I's or recovery credit. We encourage secondary students to stay for a least an hour, however, they can stay the whole three hours if needed.

There will be no homework assigned as part of this Summer Bridge though we strongly encourage all students to continue reading books at home through the Summer. We want to assure you we will be following social distancing practices as directed by Nebo School District.

Invitations will be sent out by your Title VI Representative, but if you would like your child to participate in our Summer Bridge Program, please contact Eileen Quintana and Natalie Billie as soon as possible. Space is limited! Parents/Guardians can register here as well. The registration deadline is June 26th, 2020.
