Deadline: February 5, 2020

College Horizons is a six-day college admissions workshop for American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian high school sophomores and juniors. Students learn about a variety of colleges and universities, establish personal relationships with college admissions representatives and college counselors, and experience life on a college campus."


2020 Native Teen Guide In Training

"For the last 9 years, Canyonlands Field Institute has been offering our Native Teen Guide-in-Training program build community amongst Native teens from around the country while developing leadership and whitewater rafting skills. 

We are reaching out for your support. Specifically, we are asking for your help to share this program with Native American teens who would enjoy a week exploring the San Juan River and surrounding lands.

Priority application deadline is April 15th, with a rolling deadline after this time period. Space is limited with a maximum group size of 20.

Generously underwritten by the Val A. Browning Foundation, this multi-day program for teens entering 8th - 12th grades is $50 dollars per teen."
