At Nike, curiosity is life. Technology, sports, connectivity, sustainable design and science unlock an incredible opportunity to experiment like never before. Nike interns are vital contributors to the company’s relentless pursuit of advancing human potential.
In Nike’s paid internship program, undergraduate students get a full immersion into the brand’s culture of curiosity and innovation. Interns interact with top company leaders, tackle complex business challenges, and build relationships and skills that endure far beyond their several months at Nike.
They gain access to Nike’s world-class facilities and employee benefits, including product discounts.
Every year, the hundreds of Nike interns not only help push forward athletic performance; they push their own boundaries in creativity, teamwork and personal growth.
In 2000, Sam McCracken had a business idea to provide access to Nike products directly to Native American tribes to support health promotion and disease prevention programs. Seven years later, the Nike design team collaborated with various community experts and tribal leaders to create footwear specifically for the Native American community, called Nike Air Native N7. All proceeds from the Air Native N7 (sold through Native American community centers and tribes) are given back to youth sport and physical activity programs in Native communities across North America through the N7 Fund.
Sam McCracken, General Manager & Visionary of Nike N7 is looking for a student passionate about Native American Culture and Communities for this upcoming 2021 summer internship. The N7 team is a very special team with a specific and powerful mission. The ideal candidate should be passionate about Nike and the N7 mission and have a deep interest in community involvement.

Fall 2020 Internship for Underrepresented Students
About the Program
We believe that traditional hiring practices have historically and systematically marginalized entire groups of people - including people of color, people of different socio-economic backgrounds, women, and people in the LGBTQIA+ community, to name a few. We believe we are better as an organization when we work to deconstruct the barriers and build a team that  has authentic representation from diverse communities, backgrounds and beliefs.
The Faherty Fall Scholarship Program is designed to foster the interest of underrepresented minority college students who are interested in learning more about the apparel industry and want to gain hands-on experience at a rapidly growing business that has a vibrant culture. This can be a for credit or a stipend program, stipend candidates will be paid $15.00 per hour. Candidates can choose to intern remotely if they do not feel comfortable commuting into the office.
Outside of the experience that you will gain from exposure to the business, you will engage in high-impact programming while building meaningful relationships with other interns and team Faherty through a variety of activities. This includes 1:1 mentorship, custom learning and development programming, and opportunities to impact business decisions.

How to Apply:
Once you apply, we will provide regular status updates to all applicants on a rolling basis. Based on your background, experience, and interests, you will be invited to interview if matched with one of the departments who will host an intern. You will meet with a member of our People Team and then with the members of the Department. We will be hosting a maximum of two candidates this Fall. The team at Faherty Brand does not like to say good-bye to talented and high performing individuals. Summer Bridge Program

Parents and Guardians,

The Nebo Title VI Program will be offering a Summer Bridge Program for reading, math, recovery credit packets, and tutoring to help complete any I's received during Term 3 and 4. The purpose is to recover lost learning during the COVID-19 school dismissal.

We understand that each household is unique, and each child has a different learning style. We are here to help! We want your child to be prepare and feel confident about the upcoming school year. Classes will be held Monday-Thursday for four weeks from July 13th-August 6th. There will be no charge for this program.

For Elementary students, each child will be grouped with 2 other students on the same reading level and will work for 30 minutes in the guided reading and 30 minutes in math.

For Secondary students, each student is invited to come anytime between 9:00 am and Noon. A Certified Teacher will be available to tutor and assist students with completing their missing assignments for I's or recovery credit. We encourage secondary students to stay for a least an hour, however, they can stay the whole three hours if needed.

There will be no homework assigned as part of this Summer Bridge though we strongly encourage all students to continue reading books at home through the Summer. We want to assure you we will be following social distancing practices as directed by Nebo School District.

Invitations will be sent out by your Title VI Representative, but if you would like your child to participate in our Summer Bridge Program, please contact Eileen Quintana and Natalie Billie as soon as possible. Space is limited! Parents/Guardians can register here as well. The registration deadline is June 26th, 2020.
